Daniel came home yesterday. This picture represents what we did today. This is it. Oh yeah- I also posted my blog. . .I didn't get much rest at the hospital so home we came after church Sunday. Gary came to pick us up. Lynn and Leslie Hart visited us and we had lots of fun and laughter. Thank you Stumpy. :)
Mel came for a visit after they did and stayed a short while. Thank you Mel for arranging for some meals for us! I appreciate your efforts and care.
I took bunches of pictures in the middle of one of the nights at the hospital. He's sooooo cute!!
Daniel has a VERY nice temperment!! He literally laughs in his sleep. He only cried a handful of times the 3 days and 2 nights at the hospital. He is pleasant (aren't they all when they are sleeping?! ) and when he is awake(rarely), he is very inquisitive and bright eyed.
Is that a smile- or just gas?
Gary's parents came to the house in the wee hours Friday AM. Our wonderful neighbor Marion stayed with the kids till Pop-Pop arrived. We were not expecting Daniel quite yet and we are so thankful for our family and friends who helped us in a pinch. There is Tim. We was very excited about meeting Daniel. He couldn't stand still. He was literally bouncing off the walls. He was acting like Myriah on sugar. Myriah on the other hand was calm and caring. They both got to meet and hold their brother. Now they are in Florida with my Mom and Dad for 10 days! My parents treated them to plane tickets and a week at a christian Day camp. They are at their very first day of camp today! I can't wait to hear all about it!! They have been looking forward to this trip for months! Thanks Daddy and Mom! You are both very special and I can't wait till you get to meet Daniel. p.s. thanks Mom, for talking today. Everything is going a lot better- and I feel better, too.

Hey!! We're a family of 5!!
Gary took this picture just four minutes after Daniel was born. Gary was an absolute trooper through this whole thing. I was worried he'd pass out during the surgery- not very trusting of me, I guess. I kept telling him NOT to look over there! (the other side of the curtain) As soon as they had Daniel out he wandered around the curtain to see him and ended up seeing a part of the surgery. Much to my utter relief and great suprise- he wasn't squeemish. He says it's probably becasue we watch so much 'House'. We watch that show by the season through Netflix and it can be pretty gross. Daniel was scheduled to be born tomorrow morning at 8am. God saw it otherwise. He was born at 38 weeks 3 days on July 27, 2007 5:10 am. He weighed 7 lb, 9 oz, and was 19.5" long.
Well, thanks for reading and sharing our story. But mostly, thanks for praying for us. Keep it up please.
